[Full Remote] Regional Sales Manager
Job DescriptionThe Eastern Regional Sales Manager for the Natural/Specialty channel manages sales efforts for Primal Kitchen in the Eastern territory.
The Eastern Regional Sales Manager is responsible for strategically managing the broker network of sales reps and working closely with the Director of Sales-East to implement key strategies and growth initiatives. ScopeSales Organization – Work with Director of Sales-EastMarketing – Work collaboratively with Marketing TeamBrokers – Work with and Manage broker networkFocus on Natural/Specialty Channel Key accounts and Independents. DutiesManage Natural/Specialty sales in the East. Key Account Management of The Fresh Market, Earth Fare, Heinen's, Big Y, Market 32, Roche Bros, Tops, and other Natural/Specialty key accounts and Independents. Deliver growth in Natural/Specialty channel by effectively managing broker network, distributors and developing key buyer relationships. Work to effectively fill distribution voids with new and existing accountsCreate and execute promotional plan for account baseAchieve assigned volume and profit goalsWork closely with marketing and shopper marketing team to support initiatives in your regionPresent products and conduct category reviews to increase sales and establish new accounts by emphasizing the quality advantage of Primal Kitchen products versus the competitionUse Spins and Nielsen data effectively to create compelling sell in storiesCompetent handling of all related administrative duties including new item paperwork, promotional paperwork, internal reporting and tools etc. Continual effort to develop and exploit new opportunities that are compatible with company goalsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications, which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

A self-starter with a minimum of 2+ years of sales experience utilizing brokers, direct key account and independent retailer management experienceExperience working for a fast-growing food companyStrong organizational, negotiating, quantitative and leadership skillsDemonstrated understanding of the dynamics of the packaged food businessTrack record of entrepreneurial accomplishments, not risk averseDrive and commitment with a high degree of flexibilityAbility to multi-task while remaining customer focusedDemonstrated ability to effectively use syndicated data to best sell in new items or manage current businessAbility to create effective retailer presentations to achieve specific goalsLeadershipPlanning and organizingSituation analysis and decision makingInitiativeTechnical SkillsSkills/Abilities:Ability to analyze complex data and develop innovative recommendations and solutionsExcellent planning, organizing, and project management skillsExcellent verbal, written and presentation skillsStrong orientation for quality and resultsAbility to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse culturesAbility to be an effective team member and manage various projectsAbility to assist in facilitating progressive changeNew Hire Base Salary Range: $88, 000. 00 – $110, 000. 00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
