RINA is currently recruiting for a Full-Scale Mechanical Testing Laboratory Technician to join its office in **ROME** within the Materials, Technology & Innovation Division

**Mission**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform tests in accordance with European and international standards for the qualification of components and/or materials

- Carry out tests according to specific procedures established with customers, for the characterization of the field performance of the test components

- Perform "fit for purpose" tests to determine the causes of specific field problems.

- Prepare mechanical tests on full scale components.

Carrying out, if necessary, small mechanical operations to adapt the test equipment to the purpose.

- Periodically check the state of the test equipment and carry out the necessary calibration and maintenance, in accordance with the user manuals.

- Collaborate with other team members to carry out the work and to solve any laboratory problems.

- The resource will report to the Laboratory Manager and will be included in the Laboratory work team, with internal training and on-the-job training.

**Education**:

High School Diploma/GED in Mechanical Studies or Science Other
