Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. We want you as a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer to help us in our mission by developing software that drives engineering efficiency, enhances development workflows, enables seamless operations, and simplifies testing. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions that empower teams across TEC. Key Responsibilities In your capacity as a Full-Stack Software Engineer you will: Develop responsive and robust software solutions that are used throughout TEC Own and deliver the entire software development lifecycle Build software that scales effectively with TEC's expanding mission Partner with engineering, testing, and operations teams to understand and meet needs Write performant, maintainable, and well-documented code Ensure reliability through rigorous automated and manual testing Mentor less experienced team members and support end-users What we would love to see from you The ideal candidate will have: Proficiency in at least one object oriented programming language like C#, Java, or similar Front-end experience in React, Vue, or similar JavaScript frameworks Experience with the version control Git Familiarity with test automation frameworks Database experience with PostgreSQL, InfluxDB or similar database technologies Good understanding of software design patterns and best practices Hands-on experience with agile software development methodologies Motivation to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines High attention to detail with an ability to balance quality & speed Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bonus qualifications: Experience with public cloud providers such as AWS or Azure Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD pipelines Space industry experience Why you should join us What makes us special here at The Exploration Company and why we think you will enjoy working here is: We're Agile - we make decisions fast whilst keeping our goals and systems in mind We're Open and Collaborative - we are transparent about risks and obstacles, so that we can cooperate to overcome them We have a lot of Fun - we refuel our energy knowing we are democratising space.
