**About the job
We are looking for a **Functional architect (Vehicle Level) **to join our headquarters at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the **Head of Vehicle Electronics Integration**.
You will be responsible to define and execute the functional analysis and functional architecture.
You will steer the model-based development of the functional features in sys lev. 1 on the base of platform premises, functional use cases and system level 1 requirements.
Additionally, you will:
- Derive the premises for system level 2 functions and connect the functions with systems and sub systems.
- Make the analysis of the platform functional architecture level 1 in collaboration with the platform counterparts
- Make the analysis of the stakeholder and system requirement specification _and supporting the logical architect in specifying in functional/ non-functional_
- _On the base of the platform architecture and system requirement specification of the Lamborghini Project, that is prepared by the Requirement Analyst, executes the functional analysis: _
- _Creation of the use case diagrams in collaboration with the Requirement Analyst_
- _Creation of the activity diagram in collaboration with the requirement and architecture manager level 2_
- _Assignment of the sequence steps and the requirements to the functions in collaboration with the requirement and architecture manager level 2_
- _Assignment of the functions to systems and subsystems in collaboration with the requirement and architecture manager level 2 _
- Delivers all needed architectural premises for
- the E/E architect, who creates in System Level 2 and 3 the electronic topology, E/E communication matrix and synchronizes it with all platform processes
- the E/E configuration manager creates and tracks all possible E/E baselines in strong linkage with the product data management
- the functional integrator as basis to start the "Verbund Release Management"
- Evaluate the impact of change requests in the whole functional architecture
- Design and standardization of cross-vehicle and vehicle-specific functional requirement clusters and functional architecture for the overall products
- Ensure the fit of processes, methods and tools for the development of functional requirements as well as functional architecture work in the vehicle projects
**About you
- Engineering Degree
- At least 5 years' experience in similar role
- Fully proficient in English, German as a plus but not mandatory
- Experience in Requirements analysis, functional architecture/ modelling, systems engineering, conflict management, risk Management
- Competence to create a model based functional analysis and architecture
- Competence to concept and develop the possible functional architecture scenarios in close comparison with the system architects
- Competence to decide allocations of functions to system elements
- Competence to decide in case of conflicting goals / interface problems within the architecture and between the system elements
- Bringing about the decision on functional architecture variants and the system structures derived from them in coordination with the person responsible for the system at the respective level (in his responsibility as the technology consolidator)
