You will collaborate and support the team analysing electrical cars Electro Mechanical Braking applications from a Functional Safety point of view, to retrieve the safety requirements for the different system components and propose a Safety System solution with Allegro devices. Our Milan team is at the forefront of developing advanced power management solutions for the automotive industry and Functional Safety plays a critical role. Key Responsibilities Analyse Electro Mechanical Braking systems from a Functional Safety point of view to retrieve Safety Goals, Functional Safety Requirements, Technical Safety Requirements, Hardware Safety Requirements with Allegro Devices. Work with Power IC development teams on the application of and compliance to functional safety standards, i. e. ISO-26262. Create and release documentation for functional safety engineers and product development teams to follow. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS BSEE or MSEE in electrical engineering or a related field (Aerospace Engineering, Nuclear Engineering). Interest in automotive and safety environment. Passion for innovation and future development of the automotive industry (EV, ADAS, Steer by Wire, Break by Wire, Battery Management). Strong verbal, presentation, and collaboration skills, both in person and remotely. The successful candidate will possess a good balance of technical and business acumen, be comfortable multitasking in a dynamic environment, and have strong interpersonal skills.
