**What will you take care of?
- As Functional Safety Manager you focus on the coordination of functional safety activities according to ISO26262. You will be responsible for functional safety within the product development.
- To this end, you will investigate extensive and complex customer requirements, evaluate novel safety concepts, decide on their use in consultation with other experts, verify their implementation, and finally evaluate their effectiveness using various safety analyses.
- In addition, you evaluate safety objectives, design safety concepts on HW, SW or system level and perform investigations with methods such as FMEDA, DFA or FTA.
- You will independently coordinate the adequate and on-time processing of Functional Safety tasks in the project team, which is composed of a wide variety of technical roles and interfaces in semiconductor technology, such as analog, digital, verification as well as testing and quality experts. You will report progress regularly to the higher management.
- Last but not least, you will coordinate and represent Functional Safety topics in a distributed international development environment while collaborating with customers.
**Qualifications**:
**What distinguishes you?
**Education**:completed University degree (Master/Diploma/PhD) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, technical computer science, communications engineering, physics, or a comparable course of studies
**Experience & Know-How**: Experience in the development of technically sophisticated products in the automotive electronics industry preferably ASICs, sound and proven experience in the field of Functional Safety (e. g. ISO26262)
**Personality and working style**: You enjoy working in a team and show a sense of responsibility; you are result-oriented and have strong communication skills; you have a confident manner; your way of working is structured, methodical and systematic
- **Language**: very good English and good written, German as a plus.
