Garment & Fit Technician (Based In Nice)

**The project!
We are looking for a Product Technician (M/F) who will work with the design and production teams, as well as our local and international suppliers. The project will involve working with a hands-on attitude, looking for quality and detail in accordance with technical requirements.
The aim will be to enable the brand to thrive through product excellence and to guarantee customer satisfaction and product sale-through:
- Ensuring that the products are fit for purpose: taking measurements and checking parts before they are sent to production.
- Working from the Nice office in collaboration with the stylists and people in charge of production, as well as with our suppliers.
- Being responsible for standardizing models.
- Guaranteeing product quality and adhering to delivery schedules.
**What wiil the role entail? **:
- Produce technical drawings based on style sketches, to support the launch of files based on the stylist's brief.
- Take an active part in fittings in order to detect fit problems, for which you will propose solutions for improvement
- Assess the fit and validate the garment's conformity with the style and technical manufacturing constraints
- Argue the risks of non-quality inherent in certain assemblies and propose technical solutions for production
- Draw up detailed technical comments (measurements / fittings / finishes, etc. ), in order for our suppliers to be able to offer us better prototypes.
- Develop models (from prototype to production), taking into account the materials and technical criteria defined and production requirements (quality level and production deadlines).
- Ensure technical and quality follow-up with suppliers.
- Update our monitoring tools.
- Checking patterns in all sizes from our suppliers.

**Requirements of the position**:
- Training in Garment Technician/Pattern Making.
- Minimum experience in a similar role of 3 to 5 years.
- Experience working with premium brands in a fast paced environment
- Languages: English and French.
- Experience in the clothing industry combined with experience in the design and development of new products.
- A good level of Excel and V7/8 Modaris. A level of Adobe Illustrator and PLM is a plus.
