Partner with the best. You will drive continuous improvement within the supplier base, collaborating with Commodity SQEs and Inspection Leaders across IET (Industrial and Energy Technology).
You will act as Supplier Quality representative in cross-commodities and cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on Gas Tech Services business. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:Analyzing data related to escaping defects and identifying improvement actions, such as quality requirements identification and inspections. In partnership with commodity SQEs, fostering improvement actions to increase suppliers' performances when serving the Gas Technology Service business unit. Driving metrics and data analysis standardization across the commodities and GT Service BU (Cost of Quality, Escaping Defects, Non-conformities). Collaborating within the Supplier Quality team, the Quality GT Service business, and IET Quality organization on specific workstreams. Participating in projects to streamline Supplier Quality processes applying risk evaluation concepts and a fit-for-purpose mindset. Contributing to harmonization across IET. To be successful in this role, you will have:A Master's degree in Engineering or equivalentA data-driven mindset and ability to apply statistical methodsFamiliarity with continuous improvement methods and program managementVery good communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence othersExperience in participating in cross-functional and global improvement initiativesAbility to travel domestically and internationallyFluency in both Italian and EnglishWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is unique.
