Partner with the best You will be part of the Rotating Equipment design team for Turbomachinery products used in energy production, transformation, recovery and decarbonization. Your major focus will be on mechanical disciplines related to Gas Turbine rotating components, e. g. rotors (wheels, spacers, shafts, etc. ) along with axial compressor and turbine blades. You will have the opportunity to introduce new technology to enhance company profitability and productivity and also to work closely with the supply chain to drive the continuous improvement strategy. As a Design Engineer for the Gas Turbine Rotating Equipment team, you will be responsible for: Modeling, drafting, BOM and manufacturability of the designed components. Driving the design through finite element analyses majoring on lifing assessment (e. g. creep, oxidation, wear LCF and crack propagation) and aero mechanics related topics (e. g. modal and forced response for HCF). Direct involvement in test activities starting from purposes and requirements up to the cycle end with data match and models update. Owning cost models and should cost analyses. Optimizing and simplifying the internal standard solutions along with design tools, promoting and developing new ideas. Ensuring Site/Shop support (L3, NCR/SDR dispositions, field & testing issues). Standard maintenance and fleet support (drawing updates, NCA/RCA). Collaborating with global teams and other functions to meet the targets provided. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have an MSc degree in Aerospace, Energetic, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. Possess good knowledge of CAD and CAE software (e. g. Ansys) along with at least basic programming concepts (Matlab and/or Python). Exhibit proper interpersonal and communication skills along with the capability to influence and motivate others. Show strong instincts, tireless research, exact attention to detail and innovative spirit. Be target-oriented, a self-starter with an entrepreneur's mindset. Be able and willing to travel worldwide up to 10% of the time for short customer meetings and/or site/test bed support. Be fluent in spoken and written English. Would represent a plus: Have a proven working experience in an engineering position for mechanical design. Knowledge of Heat Transfer and Rotordynamic principles.
