We are seeking a Financial Services Technical Business Analyst with a strong understanding of business processes and technology, capable of effectively bridging the gap between the two. Responsibilities of the Technical Business Analyst include:

Identifying business needsSynthesizing solutions to business challengesImplementing technology solutionsCreating technical reportsKey Accountabilities: Analyse business needs and develop technology solutions to meet themCollaborate with stakeholders and Business Analysts to create Business Requirement DocumentsTranslate business requirements into technical specifications, including market protocol mappings, database design, and workflowsConduct data analysisWork with the QA team to design test scenariosCollaborate closely with project management and software developers to design and implement solutionsEnsure requirements are met through close collaboration with QA and developersCreate and present reports to technical and non-technical team membersStay current with evolving technologies and technical developmentsSkills: The ideal candidate is an experienced professional based in Milan with a strong background in leading industry companies, with the following qualifications:

Experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role within the Capital Markets domain, guiding project implementations via Agile methodologiesBackground in trading software implementation at a Bank, Broker or Software providerUnderstanding of Exchange/Venue interface protocols such as FixFamiliarity with Algorithmic trading implementationsKnowledge of business practices and processesProficiency in data analysis and data modellingStrong skills in SQL and PythonExcellent problem-solving abilitiesAbility to understand market protocolsEffective communication skills for explaining technical details to both technical and non-technical audiencesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related fieldFluency in both English and Italian (Verbal/Written)Plus: Knowledge of additional programming languages.
