A family based on the Amalfi Coast in Italy is seeking a governess or governor from June – September 2025 to care for and assist with the English language development of their two sons aged 8 and 10.

They would like the governess or governor to engage with the children in fun and age-appropriate activities along with some lessons.

Whilst the children understand a fair amount of English, they are resistant to speak, and this is an opportunity for them to progress during their summer break.

The family owns a hotel and therefore will be providing accommodation and food on site.

The children really enjoy being at the hotel and are interested in the operational side of the hotel and what goes on in the kitchen, too.

They enjoy going to the beach and walking.

They are relatively quiet and relaxed in nature.

The governess role would be 6 days per week from 8-10 hours daily and would suit a candidate experienced with this age group and seeking a role during the summer period.

The start date will be the beginning – mid June – September 2025.

The family would like to offer a trial over a weekend ASAP to ensure it is a good fit for both parties after a successful video interview.
