Our Team:
GBS (Global Business Solutions) Team is responsible of all operational finance processes, being a trusted partner for the business and promoting its efficiency and growth.
A2R (Account to Report) team is specifically focused on Finance Accounting processes, and GBS A2R Italy Tax Compliance Manager will represent a key position to guarantee CHC Tax accounting process are running both local and GBS level, focus on local tax compliance.
Main responsibilities:
- Delivering tax services to CHC GBS within perimeter, working closely with the Hub: monthly tax closing and reporting activities, tax calculations including indirect taxes (VAT, WHT, Interstat and others), MyTax, country income tax, profit tax, deferred tax calculation and preparation of tax returns
- Reporting activities, as per group timetable, production of ad hoc-analysis, reviews and submissions, internal and external audit support
- Ensuring compliance of processes, transaction, reports with CHC/Corporate accounting policies, internal control guidelines and audit, SOX requirements
- Contributing to implementation of policies and procedures governing processes, driving continuous improvement, and improving user experience
- Contributing to A2R core model process knowledge (level 6/7) relating to tax services
- Executing operational KPIs and addressing possible operational issues, following through resolution in an effective and timely manner
- Supervision of Hub Tax accountants' work in their execution of local tasks
- Providing process expertise to relevant stakeholders as required and when needed
About you
**Experience**:
- Experienced in tax accounting, preferably in an international multicultural environment
Soft skills:
- Strong deductive and analytical skills
- Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner
- Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally with A2R front line teams with an end-to-end mindset
- Attentive to customer needs and feedback
- Attentive to detail and works with precision
- Ability to organize, prioritize and structure the tasks for oneself and junior accountants
- Action oriented, delivery driven, change agent
- Role model / coach to junior accountants
- Transversal mindset and ability to work across processes, geographies, languages, cultures, business maturity levels
Technical skills:
- Strong knowledge of the tax specificities of the given Country / Zone, in order to be autonomous
- Good understanding of GL Accounting, monthly closure and reporting activities
- Understanding of IFRS and local GAAPs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and expertise of MS Excel
**Education**:
- Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance
Languages:
- Fluency in English is mandatory
