Responsibilities: Oversee associate dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans. Coordinate and perform preventive dental care treatments such as sealants, x-rays, flossing, fillings, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated. Instruct patients on the use of recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers, and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene. Identify oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including cleanings, restoration, root canals, and surgical extractions. Seek consultation with dental specialists, such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, or periodontists when appropriate. Qualifications: Board Eligible and/or Board Certified in General Dentistry. Great communication skills and bedside manner are vital. Up-to-date knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is desired. A Doctor of Dental Surgery/DDS or Doctor of Dental Medicine/DMD degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor's degree are required. Current and unrestricted state license in good standing. Years of experience working with restorative cases & surgical procedures. Compensation: $400, 000 per year
