Job Description:Description Keywords Studios Italy, a Keywords Group company, provides international media localization, translation, voice recording, localization testing and international content creation services through its network of project managers, recording studios, and selected linguists around the world.

The GL Accounting Supervisor, reporting to the Regional Accounting Manager, will be included in the central multi-lingual accounting team operating from Milan and supporting subsidiaries in different countries, mainly acting on foreign entities.

The role requires flexibility and the capacity to build relationships with different departments as well as external consultants.

The candidate must be curious and innovative, being able to support the team in identifying solutions and knowledge required in different jurisdictions.

The candidate will coordinate a team of senior accountants and the GL team will work on several different projects, such as Fixed assets, travel expenses, SOX, system implementation, reconciliation in addition to the accounting and fiscal activities for a few entities.

ACCOUNTING Month end process, such as accrual, deferral, payroll journals and fixed assetsAssistance for Internal auditPreparation of statutory accounts and financial statementsTrial balance reviewVAT and related statutory reportsStatutory AuditAnnual statutory financials and related tasksFISCAL Income tax accruals – knowledge of the main concepts about tax return, even if not specific for the foreign entitiesSupervision of the tax compliance and related annual depositGENERAL LEDGER M&ADevelop tools to track regional activitiesDesign and develop regional/global processesSystem implementation, such as Reconciliation (NSAR), Tax forecast tool, Travel expense system and othersRequirements Technical Skills 7/10+ years of experience as Senior AccountantDiploma in accounting and/or degree in economicsKnowledge of IFRS principlesSOX (internal audit) principlesExperience analysing financial transactions and preparing reportsMS Excel skills and in general good IT systems skillsHaving the following skills will be considered an asset:

Knowledge of Oracle- NetsuiteBehavioural Skills Excellent interpersonal communication skillsOrganized and results drivenAbility to cope under pressure and to work to tight deadlines
