Our international client with a Shared Service Center in Prague is currently looking for a General Ledger Accounting Team Leader to lead their accounting department responsible for the EMEA region.

As the GL Accounting Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following:

Performing and leading end-to-end accounting activities for the EMEA regionLeading a small accounting team of accountantsResolving complex accounting issuesEnsuring the timely completion of monthly processesEnsuring that process documentation, manuals, and guidelines are complete and up-to-dateContinuous process optimization through digitization and automationRequirements:Complex accounting experience needed ideally from an SSCExperience with US-GAAP neededProven record of successful leadership and management experienceRelevant educational backgroundFluent English (C1)Knowledge of US GAAP and SOXCPA/ ACCA qualification is a plusSAP and HFM experience is an advantageBenefits:Relocation package5 weeks of holidayHome office possibilitiesContribution into retirement planMeal allowanceMultisport cardCafeteriaPlease note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy you might need a work permit.
