**Role Summary**:

The General Manager of Collegio alla Querce will be charged with positioning the property to become a one-of-a-kind iconic resort that attracts an affluent clientele interested in culinary, wellness, adventure between buzzy Florence and the beauty and charm of the Tuscan countryside.

They will develop a local culture that attracts top tier talent and connects to the community.

They will connect with the media, travel industry and clients that will tell the story of Florence, Auberge's second property in Europe and build a loyal base of advocates creating one of the most coveted and special destinations in Italy.

**Core Responsibilities**:

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

Owner Relations.

Effectively managing the owner relationships on behalf of Auberge, to ensure the owners maintain trust and confidence in our stewardship of their assets.

Strategic.

Oversee the development of the strategy and business plan for Collegio alla Querce to deliver on our mission of being the best-loved operator of one of a kind luxury hospitality and experiences.

Positioning and Story-Telling.

To position Collegio alla Querce as best in class in Europe in these three pillars - Culinary, Wellness and Adventure.

Experiences, Programming and Partnerships.

Responsible for initiating, facilitating, and guiding well-designed and creatively curated guest experiences unique to the property through adventures, activities, classes, amenities, product selection, partner alignment, and space activation.

Establishing and maintaining thematic stories and elements that influence and guide Collegio alla Querce's guest experience.

Recruitment, Employee Branding and Culture Build.

Develop the recruitment and employee branding strategy so that we are the employer of choice in Florence.

Build a rich culture of trust, pride and joy that will result in a high employee advocacy and engagement.

Operational Excellence and Quality.

Oversee the creation and successful implementation of the guest experience - Pre-Arrival, Arrival, During The Stay, Departure and Post-Departure to ensure that our guests report the highest levels of personal and customized services, and that our team is motivated and engaged.

Service Touch Points.

Oversight of OS&E, Uniform Program, Retail Program to ensure we are design-led in all our guest touch points.

Financial.

Ensure that the financial targets from Pre-Opening Budget, OS&E Budget and IT Budget are delivered including the build of the Operating Budget.

Ensure that accurate monthly forecasting is presented to ownership for financial planning.

Sales.

Be the sales champion and visible with most influential travel advisors, clients and media.
