General Manager 5*L - Venice
General Managers are responsible for the day-to-day management of the hotel and its staff.
You will be responsible for managing employees and for planning, marketing, coordinating, and administering hotel services such as catering and accommodation facilities.
You will also be responsible for making sure that all areas of a hotel environment run smoothly and work together successfully. Core responsibilities:Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans for Room, F&B and Event DepartmentMaximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaborationSet strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivityWork with managers in the development of financial and budgetary plansAnalyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessaryDevelop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiativesBuild and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goalsPlan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasksIdentifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costsUphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followedWork closely with human resources to lead team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environmentPlan and organize hotel activities to drive salesManage and monitor hotel expensesManage and track hotel inventoryPlan and implement marketing campaigns with marketing teamsBuild and maintain strong relationships with visitors and clientsBuild relationships with vendorsSuggest and implement new ideasDetermine KPIsTrack KPIs and produce reportsHire and on-board new hotel staffEvaluate staff performanceEnsure safety and adherence to rules and regulationsPrepare and manage schedules and shiftsJob Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience in a General Manager role.
Will be considered a plus a previous experience in an international hotel groupBachelor's degree in business administration, hotel management or related fieldFluent English and Italian (written and spoken)People manager used to large teamsStrong commercial acumenExperience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting resultsIn-depth knowledge of the hotel / leisure / service sectorBe passionate about the operation with a hands-on attitudeStrong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high performance and exceed targetsAccountable and resilientAbility to work under pressureLocation: Venice #J-18808-Ljbffr
