**Job Description**:

Job location: Milan (preferred), flexible location possible

The business area Europe 3 is responsible for development and ownership of wind, solar and battery storage assets in Southern Europe.

The business area is also responsible for the project execution of large projects in Statkraft, the group procurement function and development of new business opportunities.

Italy is part of the Europe 3 area and has a significant and growing solar, wind and storage development portfolio.

In Italy we need a GIS Expert to join a growing team in order to contribute to realize a integrated GIS services for our projects.

You will work with the project development teams (solar, wind and storage), with the GIS team abroad and report to the Head Development Services Italy.

As a GIS Expert, your main responsibilities will be to:

- Manage and develop GIS services for wind, solar and BESS in Italy

- Provide GIS services to individual projects throughout their life cycle.

This includes, but is not limited to, collection and processing of datasets from a variety of sources, data management, analysis, and visualization of this spatial data

- Identify and valuate on a large-scale project opportunity under consideration of feasibility, profitability and Statkraft's requirements

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent team-player with very good interpersonal and communication skills

- Accurate and structured working method with a high sense for precision

- Commercial drive and motivation to build the business

- First years of experience in a comparable position

- Experience in working with ArcGIS Enterprise is a must

- Degree in engineering, architecture, geographic science, spatial planning or other related programs

- Fluency in Italian and English
