**Job Description**:
As Global ASME Manager, you act as the single point of contact for ASME activities for clients and within SGS.
Main activities include lead and represent and develop the AIA and support the deployment of the strategy to the affiliates.
**Main Purpose of Role
- Lead and represent the AIA
- Develop the AIA and support the deployment of the strategy to the affiliates.
- Working within the Global Team supporting the collaboration between affiliates.
- Act as the technical interface between a multinational client and SGS network.
**Key Accountabilities
- Being a liaison with ASME & NB.
- Maintaining and updating the Quality Program Manual for ASME & Repair and Inservice Inspections, including the relevant Appendices and Templates
- Development and implementation of new training schemes and upskilling of workforce to changing demands in skills and certifications.
- Responsible for maintaining the global capability matrices for the global operations.
- Maintain the SharePoints of ASME to allow access to the information.
- Organize and chair ASME meetings with AIA personnel.
- Auditing affiliates ensuring they are aligned with the group strategy, policies and practices.
- Responding to technical queries.
- Preparing presentations on ASME Code changes and relevant topics.
- Preparation of marketing materials for new and existing services.
- Be a key contributor in the continuous improvement process of the organization
- At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.

**Skills & Knowledge
- Deep knowledge and understanding of purpose and role of TIC in assurance sector of markets.
- Knowledge of International standards in particular those related to Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies.
- Knowledge of QMS standards and auditing techniques.
- Good general knowledge of SGS Industrial markets.
- Must have good communication skills at all levels, speak and present assertively.
- Strong numerical skill.
- Proficient in MS office suite, particularly Excel, Power BI, SharePoint and related tools.
- Team player with a real ability to network and collaborate across all network cultures.
- Good time management and presentation skills, analytical skills and a deep understanding of industry trends.
- Ability to work independently managing multiple simultaneous opportunities and projects.
**Experience
- Minimum 15-year experience in TIC / Technical Services / Operations particularly those providing statutory, regulatory and similar high-value compliance services in competitive markets.
- Minimum 10-year experience of diversified inspection experience in the construction of ASME BPV Code Section I, Section III, Section IV, Section VIII, Section X, Section XI and Section XII and NBIC (National Board Inspection Codes) for pressure equipment or shall have been engaged for at least 5yrs in the administration of shop inspection services under the referenced ASME BPV Code Sections and NBIC.
- Knowledge of audit practices (e. g. , EN ISO 19011), assessed and confirmed by an internal or external organization.
- Experience in dealing with claims and complaints, evaluating and managing risks.
- Familiar with matrix structured international organisations advantageous.
**Qualifications
- Must - university degree or equivalent, preferable in business or relevant technical discipline.
- Must - business grade English language.
- Must - following endorsement from the National Board: "NS", "N", "B", "R"
- Desirable - following endorsement from the National Board: "I", "C", "NSC", "NSI".
- Desirable - additional language capability.
- Desirable - qualification as Auditor/Lead Auditor (ISO 19011) issued by an accredited body (40hrs course).
