**_Chiesi Global Rare Diseases_
- Chiesi Global Rare Diseases is a Chiesi Group's business unit established in February 2020 and focused on research, development and commercialization of treatments and patient support services for rare and ultra-rare disorders, many of whom have limited or no treatments available. - The unit is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, and has an initial focus on research and product development for lysosomal storage diseases, rare hematology and ophthalmology disorders.
The unit is also a dedicated partner with global leaders in scientific research, patient advocacy and care.
**Purpose
The Global Brand Specialist will implement marketing strategies for the assigned countries/products in close alignment and cooperation with the US Global Rare Diseases HQ, contribute high impact marketing plans and monitor their execution.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with other Corporate Departments, such as R&D, Medical, Value & Access, Patient Advocacy, and Chiesi Affiliates Marketing & Sales teams will be a critical success factor for the role.
**Main Responsibilities
- Execute solid and compelling brand strategies and plans for the products / countries assigned, in close cooperation and alignment with local market specificities are taken into consideration.
- Ensure brand strategies and plans are efficiently and effectively cascaded and implemented at affiliate level.
- Provide support and advice to Affiliates in the development of local Marketing Plans and for the activities related to the brand assigned (promotional material, training, special projects, events)
- Collaborate with GRD Europe & Emerging Commercial team, R&D Rare Diseases Unit Department and Global Corporate Development to evaluate new portfolio opportunities.
**Experience Required
Strategic marketing experience (3-5 yerars) with focus on Specialty / Rare Diseases products
**Education
University degree in Science and/or degree in Marketing.
Business Administration (MSc, MBA) degree will be considered an asset.
**Languages
Fluent English.
Italian is considered a plus.
**Skills
- Strategic thinker, with analytical skills coupled with creative, problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced environment consisting of internal and external team members.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
