Global Head Of Influencer Marketing / Dg Beauty
Luxury International Company, leader in the Italian Fashion World, is now looking for a Global Head of Influencer Marketing for its Beauty HQ Division based in Milan. We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Influencer Marketing (IM) to lead the Global IM team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full development and implementation of the Global IM strategy as well as supporting 3 regions (EMEA, US&LATAM, APAC) in executing the strategy at a local level. The position sits within the wider communication department, working closely with the Digital, Image, Social, and Media team, as well as Global Marketing, Go-To-Market, and Fashion House team. The role reports directly to the Global General Manager & is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of the beauty industry as well as influencer marketing and social trends. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, flexible, creative, and passionate profile with excellent leadership and communication skills. Previous experience within the Beauty industry in a Global capacity are required. Responsibilities Lead the IM function for fragrance, makeup, and skincare - enhancing brand awareness, engagement, consideration, and positioning, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand message across all activations and throughout all regions Collaborate with internal cross functional teams to ensure alignment of the strategy meets the overall business needs, objectives, and brand guidelines Provide comprehensive global communication tools for local markets guidance & implementation, including toolkits, seeding & content guidelines, profiling & talent guidelines Collaborate with the regional leaders providing direction and input, ensuring correct and timely execution of all local IM activations that are aligned with the Global strategy Lead the Global Influencer Tribe, identifying up & coming and relevant talent in priority markets, and opportunities to extend storytelling through innovative and disruptive activations Lead a high-performing IM team, fostering a culture of leadership, creativity, and strategic innovation Lead the Beauty Talents contractual obligations (including personal appearances, events, and social media planning), acting as main point of contact and ensuring all services are well optimised Lead the Global Makeup Experts programme, acting as main point of contact, and ensuring all services and contractual obligations are well optimised as well as leading any contract renewal or new contract development Lead IM events with unique points of difference for both global and local activations together with Events team to ensure correct preparation & execution in collaboration with internal partners and external stakeholders Deliver disruptive and out-of-the box ideas and external collaborations to stand-out from a competitive beauty industry and continue to grow the Beauty category Collaborate with the Fashion House at key moments of the year (i. e Fashion shows, beauty events) to optimise total brand storytelling Track, analyse and monitor IM results, identifying key insights to optimise the brand strategy IM budget leader – forecasting accordingly to business objectives and overseeing IM team budget management to deliver ROI-positive results Skills & Experience Minimum 9-10 years of relevant Influencer Marketing & Communication experience Strong experience working in the Beauty industry (Luxury and/or Indie brands is desired) Strong experience working with international markets (a global role is desired) Experience in managing a full team Experience in managing key opinion leaders (influencers, MUA, ambassadors, celebrities) including negotiating and contracting Experience in managing senior leaders and managing multiple stakeholders Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills Excellent time management, prioritisation, & organisational skills Ability to multi-task several priorities and flexible to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to communicate across the organisation at all levels of seniority including CEO level Excellent attention to detail and always with a luxury mindset Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking in approaching new and innovative ways of executing Demonstrates a flexible, professional, and positive 'can-do' attitude Hard-working, self-motivated, and passionate about the beauty industry Strong understanding of all social media platforms and up to date with current trends Strong understanding of competitor activity and activity within the beauty industry Fluent in spoken/written English.
