About the job Lead the implementation of our Procurement Strategy in daily operations, ensuring top-notch service levels and customer satisfaction for internal stakeholders (manufacturing sites, plant managers, R&D, Product Life Cycle Management, Franke Customer & OEM Team).
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and oversee Procurement SLAs, customer feedback management, and a Service Desk for procurement queries.
Ensure optimal service delivery, business user education, and stakeholder satisfaction globally.
Drive operational excellence in tactical and spot-buy purchases, ensuring cost efficiency and optimizing procurement processes.
Manage Procurement Content (Master Data, Catalogues, etc. )
within relevant systems, ensuring vendor master data and procurement category data accuracy and accessibility.
This new role will be pivotal in building these capabilities from scratch or sourcing them internally through the Franke Shared Services Center in Europe and India, or externally through Procurement-as-a-Service (PaaS) providers.
You will report directly to our CPO and oversee a network of Local Buyers, leading a team of Sourcing Analysts, Spot Buy & Tail Spend Teams.
Your tasks Procurement leadership and Team Management: Provide inputs into the overall Procurement Strategy and set the strategic direction for Procurement Operations network across the Franke group.
Ensure alignment and collaboration across divisions to drive consistency in procurement operations and tactical buying processes.
Lead and develop the operational procurement teams, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional growth, and hold teams to highest standard of discipline, accountability & ethical standards.
Develop and guide team leaders in the organization and ensure clear consistent accountabilities and create an environment to fully leverage people capabilities / talents, recognize and reward success.
Collaborate with Sourcing and overall Procurement Category Teams to support the development of their respective sourcing strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their procurement needs effectively.
Where required collaborate with key suppliers to ensure alignment with Franke's procurement operational requirements.
Ensure correct interfaces with Group and Division functions to drive business needs: Supply Chain & Logistics, Manufacturing, R&D, Quality and Safety.
Tactical and Spot Buy Management and Franke Customer & OEM Customer RFQ Support: Manage tail-spend and below Category Buyer threshold RFQs, analyze RFQ responses, negotiate with approved suppliers, process PR/PO (internally or through PaaS).
Support the execution of requesting supplier quotations to enable the delivery of Franke Customers or OEM Customers RFPs and R&D using Category Teams Supplier Agreements, throughout the Product Lifecyle of Franke offerings to customers.
Franke Procurement Spot Buy or providing pricing and executing supplier quotes for Feasibility Studies for greenfield projects or Customer RFQs.
Strong Project Management to support Large Customer RFQs from a Procurement perspective.
Strong Governance to manage OEM RFP Projects facilitating both R&D and Procurement.
Service Level Management, Procurement Customer Support Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvements: Build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across all Manufacturing sites, and establish and manage procurement SLAs, ensuring high service standards and timely deliveries.
Oversee the Procurement Service Desk, ensuring effective resolution of procurement queries and issues and business users' education.
Service to support business users through a procurement helpdesk with ticketing, for supplier creation issues, non-payment issues, etc.
Lead the management of overall procurement customer feedback, driving continuous improvement and strategic initiatives.
Implement performance metrics, tools, and processes to optimize procurement activities and ensure cost efficiencies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement operations, focusing on process automation and digital transformation.
Developing Monthly SLA performance Dashboards for all Plants and Other Stakeholders serviced by Procurement.
Conduct follow up with suppliers to ensure clarity in status of delivery, tracking, monitoring against goods and services.
Requirements Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
Fluent in English (written and spoken) is a prerequisite; other languages are an asset.
Fifteen-plus years' experience in Procurement Operations, Procurement Excellence, and Operational Excellence, with at least ten years in a global leadership role.
Experience working in a global, multicultural environment within our or a relevant industry (Consumer Goods, Appliances, Manufacturing).
Expertise in procurement metrics, performance management, and process optimization.
Strong proficiency in ERP systems and procurement content management (Master Data, Catalogues).
Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier development within multiple countries globally.
Capability to develop business cases and obtain support for ideas by creating detailed and workable proposals.
Ability to seek, analyze, and support opportunities to drive change.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Emotional intelligence.
Ability to foster a healthy team culture and inspire and motivate colleagues to perform.
Consultative approach to enhancing critical relationships with internal stakeholders, generating mutual value for Franke.
Functions well in ambiguity and cross-functional teams/topics.
Willingness to travel to various Franke locations worldwide.
