Our client is a global leader in the laboratory diagnostics market.

With a view to strengthening their organizational structures, we are looking for a

**GLOBAL INDIRECT CATEGORY SPECIALIST

This position is responsible for the indirect procurement activities, with focus on Logistics, Transportations and Spare Parts, supporting the regional and local stakeholders.

He/She will be directly responsible for the categories performance, supplier performance evaluation, development and realization of initiatives for risk reduction and saving.

Main activities: scouting, sourcing, contract development, new suppliers' implementation and monitoring.

**Posizione**:

**Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Negotiate and manage supplier agreements and relationships

- Maintain records for price-list and contracts

- Review, monitor, and report category KPIs

- Perform sourcing activities in coordination with all industrial sites

- Scout for new suppliers, products and technologies

- Support the Manager to identify potential financial/operational risks

- Contribute to develop and deploy category management strategies

**Requisiti**:

**Education, Experience, and Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree.

- Procurement experience in a structured and modernly organized company (2/3 years)

- Experience in sourcing and category management of indirect materials and services, with knowledge in logistics & transportations categories management.

- Nice to have:

- experience in the life science industry

- experience in an international company

- Knowledge of procurement best practices, processes, software

- Knowledge of cost controlling, accounting, passive cycle

- Knowledge of SAP ERP

- Integrity and ethical approach to business
