Are you a driven Network Engineer with an eye for detail and a passion for simplifying processes? At Stahl, you'll work as a specialist to elevate our network performance and security to an even higher level.
What will you do?
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure for our locations worldwide. You'll ensure that our systems are always available and secure, helping Stahl move forward. You'll stay informed about technological developments and advise the organization on these matters.
Your tasks and responsibilities specifically include:
Managing and maintaining routers, switches, and firewalls (lifecycle management) LAN/WAN infrastructureImplementing network solutions and improvements that align with Stahl's growing needsMonitoring network performance and proactively acting to prevent downtimeStrengthening network security using firewalls, VPNs, and other security measuresCollaborating with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of systemsSupporting users with network issues and actively working on customer satisfactionContributing to projects aimed at improving IT infrastructure and optimizing processesVendor management: managing relationships, networking, and knowledge exchangeAlthough your focus is on the "networking" discipline, we also exchange expertise within the team. This way, you can also be a backup for colleagues within the Technical Infrastructure team (cloud workplace / connectivity).

Furthermore, you have:
A completed IT education at least at Bachelor levelMinimum of 3 years experience in network management, preferably in a complex environmentExperience with network automation and complex problem-solving (preferably within an enterprise or datacenter environment)Knowledge of SD-WAN technology is a plus (Velocloud / CATO)Experience with Cisco and Fortinet equipment and management and monitoring tools such as Cisco Catalyst Center and PRTGExcellent command of Dutch and English, both verbal and writtenWillingness to travel: you'll visit our sites in places like the US, Italy, or Singapore a few times a yearAbout Stahl
