Global Legal Counsel
RINA is currently recruiting for a Global Legal Counsel to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Tender & Procurement Legal Support Division. MissionAs the Global Legal Counsel at RINA S. p. A. , you will play a key role in providing strategic legal advice, managing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations to support our global operations and business objectives. Key AccountabilitiesLegal Advisory:Provide expert legal guidance and support to various departments and business units. Advise on legal implications of business strategies, initiatives, and operational decisions. Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues. Contract Management:Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements. Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies. Compliance Oversight:Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Develop and implement compliance programs and initiatives. Risk Management:Identify legal risks and propose strategies to mitigate them. Assess potential liabilities and provide proactive solutions. Litigation Management:Manage litigation matters, including liaising with external counsel and overseeing legal proceedings. Develop strategies for dispute resolution and settlement negotiations. Corporate Governance:Advise on corporate governance matters and ensure adherence to corporate governance standards. Support Board meetings and prepare legal documentation related to corporate governance. EducationMaster's DegreeProfessional Certificate in LawQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in a global company or law firm. In-depth knowledge of administrative law and public procurement regulation is mandatory. Capability to provide legal advice on the analysis of calls for tender and check required tender documentation. Capability to draft and support the negotiation of Joint Venture (JV) agreements, grouping agreements, and service agreements. Knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, contracts, and regulatory compliance is a plus. Fluency in Italian and English. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards. Experience in managing and supervising legal matters across multiple jurisdictions is an advantage.
