This position reports to Global Head of Marketing and Communication, Motion Drive Products division Your role and responsibilities In this role you will be responsible for leading globally the marketing and communication activities for the Water and Wastewater segment as well as for the general purpose drives in Motion Drive Products (MODP) division.
You will have the ownership of effective marketing and communications initiatives for W&WW segment based on market understanding and customer centricity to gain awareness, demand and loyalty for our offering and brand.
You create compelling value propositions and marketing campaigns based on the target audience reach which enable business short and long-term growth.
You will manage and take ownership of marketing and communications initiatives for General Purpose Drives portfolio to support the offering business growth.
This role is open globally, but location is set in division key locations such as Finland (Helsinki), Italy (Sesto San Giovanni), Germany (Mannheim) and US (New Berlin).
You will be mainly responsible for: Establishing Water and Wastewater segment's marketing and communications plan in line with the divisions' strategy.
Leading development, execution and management of the segment specific communication, campaigns and programs working closely with the global segment team and other key stakeholders.
Defining and following KPIs to track and improve effectiveness of activities.
Managing general purpose drives portfolio marketing and communications in close collaboration with global product management team.
Collaborating in cross-division and business area shared initiatives and projects.
Ensuring alignment with ABB branding guidelines to create long term brand preference.
Monitoring key competitor activities related to market segments to identify opportunities and space for differentiation.
Collaborating closely with various internal and external stakeholders and contributing proactively for a positive team performance.
Qualifications for the role Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in marketing or communications in B2B environment.
Sound knowledge and experience of various marketing and communications disciplines and work streams including familiarity with digital environment and digital knowhow.
Ability to lead and coordinate projects with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent writing and presentation skills, English as a spoken and written language.
Experience with Water segment is an advantage but not a requirement.
