**RESPONSIBILITIES

In our unit G-CCP/KH Global Business Management Hydrogenation & Specialty Catalysts we are promoting and selling catalysts based on a profound market research.

We are developing and advertising new products to drive sustainable innovations together with our customers.

- In your new role, you will develop our market segment strategy and steer its implementation through clearly defined KPIs while compiling market and competitive intelligence.

- As our R&D project lead for market segments, you will identify strategic markets, potential growth opportunities as well as business cases for investment projects and engage their coordination with the respective stakeholders.

- You will implement product positioning by market or process and take on value proposition, the communication with sales as well as developing price strategies and business models suitable for corresponding product segments.

- The management of our portfolio and product life cycle as well as product launches and marketing communication activities in compliance with our business rules will be part of your new responsibilities.

- Furthermore, you will take part in techno-commercial tasks in close cooperation with our technology managers, in defining design directives and in providing technical and warranty proposals to customers.

**QUALIFICATIONS

- PhD or master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, economics or business administration.

- Several years of professional experience in the field of chemical catalyst markets and technical understanding of chemical catalysts.

- Good knowledge of commercial marketing or product marketing desirable.

- Team player with prior experience in project management.

- Highly entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical skills.

- Strong communication skills in English and German.
