Global Marketing Professional Pasta
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Marketing Professional, to join our Global Meal Solutions team within the Group Marketing unit based in Parma.
Reporting to the Global Pasta Marketing Director, the role is responsible to contribute to the pasta category and Barilla brand global development being the key point of contact for the Better-For-You current offering and future initiatives, in coordination with the regional marketing teams and cross-functional teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide input to the global Better-For You category strategy definition, by performing competitive analysis, store check and website analysis, identifying opportunities and trends, benchmarking, monitoring competitors and running swot analysis in order to provide relevant inputs and support the generation of the strategy.
- Support the manager in the definition of global Better-For-You range architecture and portfolio, by performing marketing intelligence activities, collecting inputs from regions, analyzing performance reviews and volumes and consolidating data in order to have a clear understanding of the competitive scenario and the roles of the brands.
- Lead the development of Better-For-You global innovation projects by collecting relevant data and information about competition, preparing documentation required for Meetings, taking part to product development activities (tasting, etc.
), coordinating operative meetings with technical teams and regularly getting in contact with Regions for updates on projects advancement in order to produce consistent data and analysis for projects gates.
- Support the Regional Marketing Teams through deep understanding of local business needs, helping to find solutions to issues and to identify opportunities and sources of growth, in accordance with global priorities and guidelines.
- Develop packaging label/designs & communication materials to support new product launches, in accordance with guidelines defined by Communication & Equity Director, and input marketing needs for technical pack evolutions, in partnership with packaging.
- Keep consumers' understanding always fresh and up-to-date, acting as a "window on the world", constantly watching and following the evolution of society, trends, lifestyles, anticipating incoming consumers' needs that would fuel new concept ideation and development, collecting & channelling inputs to innovation strategy.
**Qualifications**:
- Degree in Economy, Marketing or similar
- 3+ years experience in marketing (branding & /or innovation is a plus)
- Fluency in English language, both spoken and written
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Strong communication, network and interpersonal skills
- Planning and organization skills, as well as problem solver
- High autonomy and can-do attitude
- Agile mindset: learn fast in a dynamic environment, handle emergencies and prioritize activities
- Collaborative and team-working approach
- Passionate about Marketing and Innovation, curious about Food industry, Food lover
- International background will be a significant plus (cultural, personal or professional)
