Global Organizational Effectiveness Director
RINA is currently recruiting for a Global Organizational Effectiveness Director to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Operational & Organizational Excellence Division. MissionAs the Global Organizational Effectiveness Director at RINA S. p. A. , you will report directly to the Vice President of Operational Excellence.
Your mission will be to lead strategic initiatives that drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness across the company.
By implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of excellence, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the achievement of strategic objectives. Key AccountabilitiesOperational ExcellenceDevelop and implement operational excellence strategies aligned with RINA's goals. Establish methodologies for process improvement, quality management, and performance optimization. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, empowering employees to drive efficiency and innovation. Process Optimization (Lean Six Sigma)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, reducing waste and inefficiencies. Conduct process assessments, root cause analyses, and value stream mapping. Standardize processes to enhance productivity and quality. Lead quality improvement initiatives to strengthen customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Change ManagementSupport organizational change by providing guidance, tools, and structured implementation plans. Develop change management strategies, communication plans, and training programs to ensure stakeholder engagement. Career Development & GrowthDesign career path frameworks that support employee progression and retention, adapting them to business needs. Work with HR and People Experience teams to identify skill gaps and development opportunities. Integrate people development initiatives into broader organizational strategies. Career Trajectories & ProgressionAnalyze job roles and career paths to define clear progression levels. Develop detailed role profiles with responsibilities, qualifications, and required competencies. Align career frameworks with RINA's strategic goals, values, and culture. Define skills, knowledge, and experiences necessary for career advancement. Establish transparent criteria and milestones for progression, supported by career development resources. Provide employees with career exploration tools, including job shadowing, mentorship, and workshops. Collaboration & Continuous LearningPartner with leadership and teams to align improvement initiatives with strategic objectives. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in organizational excellence. Promote knowledge-sharing initiatives to drive innovation and continuous learning across the organization. EducationBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance Management, or Engineering General. Qualifications7+ years of experience in leadership roles driving operational excellence, process improvement, and organizational change initiatives. Proven expertise in process optimization methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver results on time and within budget. Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive alignment. Lean Six Sigma certification and/or Change management certification (e. g. , Prosci) is a plus.
