Global Pim Specialist
Stakeholder Collaboration, Governance and initiatives:
- Lead PIM Roadmap and Data Quality Governance with local commercial teams
- Lead data model governance
- Focal point for product data master management
- Focal point of ETIM committee
- Support/involved in internal projects/initiatives that utilize product data (CableApp, B2B, web catalogue, data platform, SAP integration)
- Support the Global Key Account on joint initiatives related to PIM topics and customer visits
- Involved in and support Prysmian Sustainability Team focusing in data exchange with customers
- Support the vendor relation management (inRiver, ProductsUp, Valtech)
- Aware and follow the development of any product data standard in the market: BIM, DPP, ETIM, CPR
- Attend events revolving around product data management such as BIM event that relates to business unit potential needs
KPI:
- General KPI - Set and monitor the business KPI: turnover coverage, portfolio completion, users satisfaction, Product Data Quality, syndication volume
- Product Data Quality: set internal PDQ framework, support the evaluation of internal PDQ, receive and evaluate customers report on PDQ together with Global Key Account, support local team with their PDQ local initiatives with customers
Platform Development
- Support PIM team in maintaining the control centre
- Support PIM team in analysing, testing, and implementing new enhancements
- Lead the collection of user feedback on PIM functionalities to ensure the product management principles are correctly implemented
- Support the management of documentation, manuals, presentations, user training materials and videos
Datamodel
- Set the datamodel governance framework and lead the governance - to ensure that the datamodel is not polluted
- Support PIM team in maintaining and enhancing the datamodel
- Align with and ask support of R&D in harmonizing PIM datamodel
Syndication
- Act as project manager for Syndication projects
- Support the discussion with local team in exchanging the product data with the local data pool or customers
- Support the syndication activities: mapping, technical documentation, problem solving,
- Lead the change management for Syndication in the country together with relevant regional/local team

- Communication and leadership: To be able to facilitate multiple stakeholders to achieve the common goal, bridging the needs of business and IT solution, and collaborate with customers

Who are we looking for?
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Proven track record in Product Information Management Systems or R&D Systems
- Technical Expertise: Sap / Integration skills are preferred.
- Methodologies: Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (PMO, COBIT, Agile) is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Italian, both written and verbal.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
