Global Purchasing Pmo
As a Global Purchasing PMO, the person will be responsible for leading and implementing innovative projects and initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement function. He/she will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify new opportunities, design and execute digital solutions, and monitor and evaluate their impact. He/she will also act as Program Manager for selected initiatives, making sure gantt of activities is respected with deliverables being produced on time, and grant a proper governance of access rights when it comes to purchasing roles in the various IT systems
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the procurement innovation strategy and roadmap, aligned with the business objectives and the procurement vision.
- Identify, prioritize, and launch new projects and initiatives that leverage digital technologies, data analytics, process automation, and best practices to optimize the procurement processes and tools.
- Ensure the timely and quality delivery of the ongoing projects, following the established methodologies, standards, and governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and suppliers to co-create and implement innovative solutions and drive change management.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and benefits of the implemented projects and initiatives, using relevant KPIs and metrics.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in procurement innovation and digital transformation, and benchmark the best practices in the industry.
- Ensure internal governance through an active management of access rights to purchasing-related tools
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Experience in procurement, project management, innovation, or digital transformation will be considered as a plus.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, tools, and systems, and experience in implementing digital solutions and process improvement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across levels and functions.
- Highly analytical, creative, and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to generate and test new ideas and solutions.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and agile, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs and expectations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and familiar with project management software and tools.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
