Global Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager

We believe in the power of sustainability to drive change and are now looking for a dynamic leader to join our team as Global Quality and Continuous Improvement (Q&CI) Manager of GPQSS.
In the role you will belong to the GPQSS global management team and report directly to the Global Head of Quality for Grid Integration.

**Your responsibilities
- Lead, develop and inspire a global team of quality professionals and managers across different regions
- Develop and execute our global quality and continuous improvement strategy aligned with overall business goals
- Ensure compliance of the management system with all relevant external certifications
- Define and promote the use of standard methods and tools in accordance with Hitachi Energy directives and regulations
- Develop the quality and continuous improvement community, from competencies and knowledge required to execute all Q&CI processes and methods to developing capability and workforce planning aligned with the strategic intent of the global product group
- Design, implement, execute, and continuously improve a system or framework to generate, prioritize and execute improvement ideas and eradicate top quality issues, striving to become a learning organization
- Ensure the Voice of the Customer is represented within the business and leverage to drive the quality agenda
- Empower our employees to take ownership for their performance and leveraging their ability
**Your background
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management and/or continuous improvement, preferably in the energy or engineering sector
- A university degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading and developing global teams
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing change in a dynamic, international, and fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical skills, including experience with quality and continuous improvement data and data-driven decision-making
- Experience in leading quality and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple locations
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken. Other languages are considered a plus
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time
