The role will be responsible for creating, managing, and delivering high-quality training content while innovating the training offer across multiple formats ensuring a consistent approach in all phases: from learning objectives definition to content development and effectiveness monitoring. Proven instructional design competencies, curriculum development, usage of learning authoring tools, and facilitation skills are required. Knowledge and passion for the international luxury retail environment, cross-departmental project management skills, and the ability to work in partnership with different stakeholders will be essential for the success of the role. Reporting to the Global Retail Capabilities Development Director, the person will be responsible for 2 resources. Success of this role will be measured as well in UPT, NPS, and Sales increase. In this role, you will:Lead a team of training content developers, responsible for design and development of training modules and programs to be delivered across multiple countries and cultures. Support the retail teams (Style Advisors and Store Management) in developing their Selling and Clienteling skills and ensure consistency across markets, co-designing training for all touchpoints of the Zegna Guest Experience, integrating market needs, feedback, and monitoring effectiveness. Proactively identify the sales training needs analyzing the outcome and monitoring the impact of every sale-related training program, with a data-informed approach. Actively collaborate with the Zegna Global Training Community, contributing to drive a community of global in-store training specialists, to ensure effective cascading and follow-up of training initiatives. Work with a strong project management mindset and approach to meet deadlines/costs and the different validation phases across the project's creation involving the right stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME). Scout and deal with suppliers for specific projects which cannot be developed internally, taking into account the budget allocated and the training delivery methodology. For this role, we're looking for someone with:At least 5 years of experience within the retail environment. Proven Retail Knowledge. Proven training development knowledge. Previous managerial experience. Energetic personality with strong engagement skills. Retail selling experience & Retail business needs knowledge. Mastery of principles of adult learning, teaching, and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects. Guest-centric mindset. Proven knowledge of Adult Learning Training Methodologies and measurement of training effectiveness. Proven experience of Instructional Design and Training assets development (including Rise, LMS, …). Video Editing/Photoshop skills are a plus. Project management skills. Communication, training, and facilitation skills. Ability to work in partnership. Agility & Flexibility in priorities management. Excellent communication skills coupled with cultural sensitivity necessary for addressing diverse audiences and work environments. Knowledge of English mandatory.
