Global Shop Vendor Management Leader
Job Description Summary**:
The Global Shop Vendor Management Leader, responsible for the tactical co-ordination of the Aero Alliance Vendor base.
Working with Vendors on priorities, material requirements and connecting short term challenges with long term strategic decisions.
**Essential Functions**:
- **Creates a holistic wing to wing view of materials that are being worked by Aero Alliance Global Vendors to satisfy Customer requirements**:

Drives planning and scheduling through having a full overview and understanding on key vendors' WIP (work in progress) jobs.
**:

Manage a Repair Vendor Tracker with a full overview of key vendors' WIP for CWD, Induction alignment, progress, Prioritization, Quarter build plan, etc.
**:

Identifies materials shortage requirements and opportunities to maximize supplies.
Builds and maintains Vendors´ Critical Spare Parts requirements (Weekly Escalations) in line with Shops Quarterly build Plan (Customer Commits)**:

Understands and improves the Repair Vendors Weekly Parts Allocation between the Aero Alliance, Channel Partners and ASP by identifying rotable opportunities within operations as well as leading decision making around repair vs. buying as needed.

Develops a Repair Vendors Dashboard with relevant KPI´s**:

Drives and Supports RCA for Repair vendors**:

Develops and tracks Quality KPIs for Repair vendors**:

Manages & Prioritizes Departure Record (DR) requests and collaborates with the engineering team to provide a disposition.

Translates Repair vendors forecast into new material requirements.
Balances open demand with forecast and collaborate with S&OP to align demand with supply.

Develops a capacity KPI to ensure vendors´ capacity is aligned to demand**:

Identifies shortfalls in the New Materials supply so that early signals can be sent to GE Aviation AEO Supply chain so that they are eliminated going forward.

Provides insights to the planning team on when areas change within the supply base such as fall out and SB take up.

Identifies long term strategic opportunities for Vendor development, In-house capabilities, and longer-term strategic areas for the GE Aviation AEO Supply Chain team to improve**:

Understands the short-term planning requirements ensuring all the supply channels are aligned.

Works with all levels of personnel in resolving issues**:

Develops expertise in own function.
Influence's policy and ensures delivery within area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization.

**Basic Qualifications**:

Bachelor's degree in business from an accredited university or college**:

At least 6+ years of inventory, materials, vendor development, sourcing, or manufacturing experience**:

Strong project management ability with an analytical mindset.

Demonstrated ability in cultivating strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Proven track record of continuous improvement and lean expertise**:

Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills with a team player attitude**:
