Global Supply Chain Manager
Savaré , a worldwide technology leader in Adhesive Specialty Chemicals, due to its footprint expansion is looking for a: GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER with a passion for technology innovation and successful project execution, to oversee strategic supply chain planning and execution across its operations in Europe , USA , and Asia. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure alignment between demand planning and business goals. Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement a robust production planning process. Coordinate capacity planning and material availability , proactively managing constraints and adjustments. Support production teams in optimizing daily schedules to improve efficiency and ensure accurate promise-to-customer dates. Material Planning & Inventory Management: Execute and analyze MRP leveraging the Bill of Materials (BoM) provided by the R&D teams, minimizing financial impact during product transitions. Ensure logistics parameters in the ERP system are correctly maintained and reviewed. Oversee inventory targets , balancing cost, service levels, and operational efficiency. Logistics & Supply Chain Optimization: Drive best-in-class inbound and outbound logistics performance , ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Partner with operations, procurement, and commercial teams to optimize supply chain execution. Performance Monitoring & KPIs: Develop and maintain supply chain performance dashboards , tracking KPIs on forecast accuracy, delivery performance, and inventory levels. Lead data-driven decision-making processes , presenting insights to Operations and Commercial Teams. ERP & Digital Transformation: Play the champion role to support the enhancement and adoption of the existing ERP system , ensuring seamless integration with supply chain operations. Act as a key liaison with customers and internal teams , ensuring alignment between operational capabilities and customer expectations. Conduct on-site visits to assess and improve service levels. Supervise direct reports in logistics, customer service, and planning. Key Qualifications and Skills: Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in the chemical industry. Technical Skills: Knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory control, logistics, and warehouse management. Process mindset, lean thinking principles and methodologies, knowledge of ERP systems. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making approach. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide to achieve organizational goals. Servant leadership attitude. Proactive, dynamic, and passionate about driving operational excellence. Languages: High proficiency in English is required; good command of Italian.
