The person will be included in the **Global Investor Relations & Sustainability team** (Corporate - Finance, managed by Francesca Rambaudi) working with all the 26 Group countries' of operation and relevant internal and external stakeholders. The person will be responsible for managing and overseeing all sustainability topics related to the Group, including both reporting and strategy. She/He will leverage on a team of 2 specialists, in addition to closely collaborate with the Global Procurement & Supply Chain ESG Manager (and team). **Main activities
- Manage the sustainability reporting process at the Group level, collaborating with other Corporate Functions and Country local teams to collect and consolidate quantitative and qualitative ESG data throughout the Group.
- Prepare for the introduction of the new Corporate Sustainability Directive (EU Directive 2022/2464) supporting the external advisor in the gap analysis of the Group's current sustainability disclosure & reporting process vs the new CSRD & ESRS requirements and defining the main activities to be implemented to ensure the full compliance with the CSRD & ESRS
- Draft the Group's Sustainability Report in compliance to the above forthcoming Corporate Sustainability Directive and support the related third-party audit activities.
- Perform TCFD-aligned climate risk assessment with related disclosure in the sustainability reporting
- Manage and implement the Group global climate strategy (full GHG inventory management, including all relevant Scope 3 categories analysis; definition of carbon reduction targets, implementation and management of relevant carbon reduction initiatives, monitoring of Science Based Targets emission reduction trajectory adherence)
- Implement, manage and monitor the Group's Sustainability Plan and strategy, by designing new targets with Corporate functions and collaborating on global projects in order to contribute positively and proactively to Amplifon's reputation and long-term shared value creation.
- Answer ESG questionnaires from rating agencies & indices (ex. S&P CSA/DJSI, CDP, MSCI, ISS; Vigeo, Sustainalytics) and from institutional investors, consolidating relationships with both parties, and analyze Company's performances in the ESG ratings to improve Amplifon's scores through the launch of specific action plans.
- Work effectively with other relevant functions across the business to launch and coordinate activities to drive Amplifon's sustainability reputation and long-term shared value creation (ex. with Procurement & Supply Chain, Communication, Internal Audit & Risk Management, HR/D&I, etc. ).
- Support external & internal communication activities related to the sustainability strategy (ex. corporate website, internal ESG newsletter, intranet, induction activities, internal training, engagement, etc. ).
- Actively monitor and analyze sustainability legislation (ex. EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, TCFD, EU Taxonomy, etc. ), best practices, and reporting standards and implement improvement actions.
**Skills and Experiences
- Master's degree in engineering (environmental, energy, management engineering) or management, finance, economics or other relevant disciplines;
- At least 7/10 years of experience in sustainability in professional firms (audit & advisory) and/or multinational companies
- Knowledge of the main sustainability ratings (S&P CSA/DJSI, CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics, Vigeo, ISS, etc. ) and frameworks (Sustainable Development Goals, UNGC, TCFD, etc. )
- Pro-active attitude, openness to innovation, and team-work approach
- Strong interpersonal skills to aid in the building of relationships with key stakeholders - both internal and external
- Ability to work with interfunctional teams
- Strong organizational skills to effectively assist in the management of multiple projects, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to cope with pressure
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Discretion when dealing with confidential information
- Expert knowledge on ESG and sustainability matters, with a strong focus on sustainability reporting framework and standards and on GHG accounting as well as climate-related strategies
- Strong analytical skills and mindset for data analysis, planning and control, with high attention to details
