What you'll be doing day to day
Contribute to a great meeting with the customer in all sales channels by ensuring a consistently high availability, with high quality and at lowest possible total cost.
By:
- Plan, optimize and develop all Outbound operations in the Unit to maximize our total unit operational performances in the best customer centric way.
- In synergy with Goods flow manager, ensure the preconditions for effective and efficient picking operations and set priorities focusing with the team on excellence in execution.
- Secure everyday basics in place in warehouse, stock accuracy and SLM processes included.
- Actively contribute to the brief for the transport service provider, in order to guarantee a first-time-right to our customer in a qualitative home-to-home process.
Included the return flow analyses and insights.
- Contributing to offer a consistent high availability of our core service towards our customers in all the sales channels at the lowest possible total cost.
- Develop the co-workers and ensure a living succession plan in place in all the Logistics areas.
- In synergy with the Inbound Leader and the Sales & Supply Support Leader, secure the correct usage of short-term logistics capacity for outbound in the unit according to service forecasting.
This includes space, service agreement with the Transport Service Provider and people as a part of the total home-to-home customer experience.
- Analyse the outbound flow and give continuously feedback to the service partner to become more and more effective guaranteeing the best quality in service execution in collaboration with internal & external partners.
- In synergy with Safety & Security team, ensure that the Outbound team works in compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health, safety and security and the environment.
