**What you'll do
This job involves providing support to the HR Operations team, specifically in the areas of payroll and administration.
The key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in special projects focused on harmonizing legal entities, streamlining processes, implementing new tools, and digitizing HR operations.
- Supporting the implementation of a new HR portal (MyEcolab) by helping employees use the tool, developing content, and suggesting improvements.
- Acquiring knowledge about payroll and payslip structure and understanding the interconnection between different HR processes.
- Interacting with government entities, such as INAIL, INPS, and Istat, through accessing portals and handling requests.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports, statements, and summaries, and performing analysis for HR and other departments.
- Supporting the business by preparing employee documentation required for customer site access.
- Collaborating with HR personnel to ensure accurate recording of employee data, including new hires, terminations, and compensation or benefits changes.
- Learning to respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, including tax withholdings, deductions, and benefits.
- Contributing to the maintenance of confidential payroll files, both electronic and physical, while ensuring data security.
- Staying updated on payroll regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to legal and company policies.
- Participating in ongoing training and development activities to enhance payroll knowledge and skills.
- Gaining proficiency in payroll software and systems for data input, retrieval, and analysis.
- Managing health and complementary funds enrollments on both the funds portal and the employee side.
- Assisting in the management of HR supplier orders and invoices.
- Cooperating with HR Operations departments in other European countries, as needed, to enhance process harmonization.
- Supporting the HR Department and HR Business partners in projects and operational support for employees.
**What you'll need?
- A degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including spreadsheets and payroll software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction at all levels.
- A desire to learn and grow in the field of payroll management.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of payroll processes and regulations is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and procedures in the payroll industry.
- Ability to work in international environments.
