Job Description To strengthen our team, we are looking for anR&D Electronic Engineerfor the Vacuum Product Division R&D Electronic Team.

As an electronic engineer, you'll be part of a team that defines, validates and supports design of electronic control unit for Vacuum products in Agilent Spectroscopy & Vacuum Division.

Most of our new product developments are related to a complete vacuum system, composed by mechanical parts and electronics.

For this reason, the research and development activities are assigned to a team of mechanical, vacuum, testing and electronic engineers.

As part of these projects, you will also collaborate with our project managers as well as with our marketing, manufacturing, purchasing, quality and service organizations to transform the market needs into finalsolutions and products.

Though you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team, you will also be working independently to drive core technology growth in our division.

Your core responsibilities will be to own the outsourced design of electronic control units managing a team of suppliers by an accurate mix of technical skills in digital, analog and software solutions suitable to support electronic design in the field of high and low speed inverters, high voltage circuits, data acquisition systems and communications interfaces for instrument subsystems.

You will also coordinate fabrication, assembly and testing of prototypes and production units.

In addition, you will also perform verification testing and compliance to regulatory standards to support the accurate transition from design completion to manufacturing and subsequently to the market.
