Job Type: Full-Time Typical Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; Extended Hours During Harvest Season Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship is not available Relocation assistance available Description Our client, a leader in the agricultural industry, is seeking a Grain Elevator Manager to oversee operations at their facility in the North-West Chicago area.

In this role, you will be at the heart of agricultural logistics, managing grain receiving, storage, and shipping while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will supervise and develop a dedicated team, ensure equipment is operating efficiently, and implement innovative solutions to optimize operations.

Responsibilities Oversee daily operations, including grain handling and shipping logisticsManage and train a team of elevator employees, including seasonal staffMaintain and repair grain handling equipment and rolling stockImplement and enforce OSHA and state safety standardsSchedule and monitor federal grain inspections and fumigation proceduresEnsure facility cleanliness and adherence to housekeeping standardsApprove invoices and oversee credit card spendingIdentify opportunities to improve operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiencyMaintain strong customer relationships and resolve issues as neededQualifications 3+ years of grain elevator operations experience required3+ years of supervisory or management experience requiredAdvanced mechanical knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems requiredProficiency using MS Office for basic tasks requiredProficient with electronics (computers, cameras, & communication devices) requiredValid driver's license required
