**The Role**:
The new resource will be part of the Research Unit team heading funded projects with close regards to energy and social innovation challenges.
As a Grants Project Manager you will be responsible for the daily management and implementation of the funded project activities.
You will play a pivotal liaison role with all internal and external stakeholders within the activities, spanning all Work Packages (WPs) and tasks related to the project implementation.
Periodically you must to Keep the Units up-to-date on new opportunity about network or news, discovered during the project in a timely fashion.
**Responsibilities**:
- Setup, monitor, and manage work schedules, implementation, adherence to quality standards & funding programme rules.
- Compile grant forms accurately and on time per funder requirements (e. i.
budget).
- Coordinate internal and external project teams, and act as the centre of communication between all internal and external stakeholders, including: Prompt liaison with the Head of Research Unit.
- Reporting to line manager the overall progress regarding milestones and deliverables.
- Champion the preparation of deliverables, including policy statement and annual reports as well as preparation of the technical interim and final reports.
- Identification of any unanticipated risks.
- Co-drafting and supporting proposal preparation and tender submissions for project development related opportunities in Europe.
**Experience & Skills**:
- Minimum 3 years work experience in management for grans/research project.
- Experience with the management and implementation of EU contracts and grants in complex organisations, including proposal submissions and reporting.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills with the ability to coordinate information and processes involving multiple people/teams.
