Our New York / New Jersey based Home Décor & Gift importing company is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer / Product developer.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and trends in the Home Accessory and Gift business.

They will be proficient in Creative Suite.

This role requires the ability to translate trends & ideas into compelling graphics and design elements that apply to our product mix & resonate with our customer base.

Our products include Decorative Signs, Wall Art, & Home / Tabletop Décor.

As a Graphic Designer, you will create the graphics and design elements for our product, create product specifications, while communicating & collaborating with our overseas factories and USA sales team.

Duties Develop and design Decorative Signs, Wall Art, & Home / Tabletop Décor. Produce factory specifications. Collaborate with our Merchandising and Sourcing team. Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality designs. Attend occasional meetings at our Offices, Showrooms, Trade shows, and Customer locations.

Costs covered by our company. Qualifications A portfolio link showcasing previous work is required. Experience in the Gift & Déc industry is highly desirable. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required. Experience in digital art creation is required. Experience in Surface Pattern Design is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. A degree in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered. 3 - 5 years work experience in this field is required. Salary commensurate upon experience.

This Full-time position pays from $75, 000 - commensurate upon experience.
