Job Description: For a low-cost air company, Manpower Business Professional is looking for 1 Ground Operations Airport Support Supervisor (Fiumicino based).
Purpose of the position: The Ground Operations Support Supervisor is supporting and supervising all aspects of the safe, cost-effective, and punctual running of operations in the region they are assigned to.
The Supervisor will oversee the airline daily operations and will report to the Ground Operations Manager in charge of the monitored stations.
Responsibilities: Ensuring that operational KPIs are being met by the contracted partners at a given airport, with daily reporting to the Ground Operations Manager in charge.
On-site supervision of all operations areas (passenger handling, ramp handling, load control, etc. ).
Overseeing performance of certain flights, assisting in reaching the desired quality of handling.
Preparing reports on the station's performance in key areas.
Conducting audits and daily checks on airports in the assigned Region.
Giving assistance to the Ground Operations Manager in charge of airports in the assigned Region.
General administration and reporting duties.
Any other task assigned by the Head of Ground Operations or the Ground Operations Manager.
Daily monitoring of flight delays and their follow-up with stations.
Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports of station performance, including analysis of trends and outstanding delay triggers.
Administration and follow-up of crew reports, including their handling in Intelex.
Administration of station Newskies accounts in IDM.
Monitoring of GH activities recorded in automated ACARS reports, follow-up of identified deviations from standards.
Monitoring of system records of check-in and boarding activities.
Analysis of MVT vs Journey Log flight delay data.
Follow-up on delay change requests coming from the CO team.
Perform Turnaround Inspections and Mystery Inspections trips.
Requirements: Ability to live and work within Albania and conduct duty travels abroad.
Fluent English speaker; Italian would be an advantage.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Creative and proactive personality with a "can do" approach.
Computer skills – Excel, PowerPoint.
Flexible approach and ability to remain diplomatic.
Aviation experience is an advantage.
Energetic, able to adapt and deliver high-quality performance in a very dynamic work environment.
Knowledge of Newskies, AIMS, and SITA systems is an advantage.
