Tyvak International is seeking new members to join their team to support space vehicle development.

Tyvak focuses on developing and integrating key components and technologies into highly integrated and high-performance nano-satellite vehicles.

The team's skillset ranges from architecture, design, build, and test of mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems integrated into small spacecraft.

Tyvak International, a Terran Orbital company, is seeking a motivated Ground Software Engineer who, reporting to the Software Area Manager, will join a collaborative team to develop innovative nano-satellite vehicle solutions for multiple projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain simple, reliable, and fault-tolerant softwareWrite comprehensive unit and regression tests in existing frameworksIntegrate and test software in wide and interlaced ground segment environmentsWork with multiple engineering teams to establish software requirements and designWork with various engineering teams to support the commissioning of newly launched satellitesRequirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent field required.

Master's Degree is preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience developing Python or other high level language (Java, C#) applications for distributed systemsGood knowledge of Linux Operating System principlesKnowledge of networking and distributed systems principles (ISO/OSI stack, web concepts, etc.

)Knowledge of relational and not-relational database principles. Highly motivated, self-starting, and able to perform duties autonomously without supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Italian and in EnglishAbility to collaborate effectively with others member of team towards a common goalPositive and proactive person and to be able manage stress and deadlinesProblem solver, able to analyze situations and find practical solutionsDesired Skills Hands-on experience in developing web back-end applications in Python and the most common web frameworks (Django, Flask)Experience with modern relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Timescale, Influx DB)Salary and benefits are EU market competitive and include Welfare, Benefits, Private Insurance, Flexible working Hours.

The gross annual salary (RAL) will be commensurate with the candidate's level of seniority, expertise, and overall contribution to the role, ensuring a fair and competitive package.
