If you have any questions about this vacancy or the application process, please email us at: ****** Hauptaufgaben Incumbent is engaged in seasonal gardening activities, including site preparation for planting, sod laying, irrigation, planting, transplanting, aeration, pruning, and topping of plants, shrubs, and trees.

Maintains flowers and seeded areas to ensure an attractive appearance.

Places flowers, plants, shrubs, and small trees, and monitors plant growth, thinning or transplanting as needed.

Mows and edges lawns using manual, electric, gasoline mowers and other related tasks.

Incumbent must have skills and knowledge in maintaining and restoring lawns, hedges, and small trees, be competent in the use of both manual and mechanical tools and equipment, including lawn tractors, edgers, hedge trimmers, pruning shears, and sprayers.

He/she must follow detailed instructions for each project, exercise caution when operating lawn mowing equipment.

He/she receives guidance from supervisor on new procedures.

Work is monitored to ensure compliance with instructions.

Position duties involve incumbent to perform outdoor work, be exposed to various weather conditions including rain, heat, and humidity.

Exposure to dirt, dust, mud, and pollen.

He/she must wear protective gear such as gloves and safety glasses.

Tour of duty is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 08. 00 to 17. 00, including a 1-hour uncompensated lunch break.

ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION; 2.

TECHNICAL PRACTICES (THEORETICAL, PRECISE, ARTISTIC); 4.

USE OF MEASURING INSTRUMENTS; 5.

ABILITY TO INTERPRET INSTRUCTIONS, SPECIFICATION, ETC.

(INCLUDES BLUEPRINTING READING); 6.

ABILITY TO USE AND MAINTAIN TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT; 7.

KNOWLEDGE OF MATERIALS.

NOTE: Incumbent must understand and speak Elementary English and read and understand words and phrases pertaining to daily tasks.

HOW YOU WILL BE EVALUATED: In order to qualify for this position, your application must provide sufficient experience to meet the requirements of the position.
