For a global private equity-backed software company we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Business Controller.

In this role, you will play a critical part in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance, driving excellence in our accounting practices.

Key Activities Finance Business Partner

Act as a business partner to other senior Managers having the opportunity to gain significant commercial exposureProvide ad-hoc analytical support and insights to facilitate strategic decision-making and challenge department leads using analytical insightsDevelop and implement comprehensive global financial analysis to check the alignment with the company's overall business objectivesCreate ad hoc business case to support strategic decision-making in the business as usual Financial Reporting and Analysis

Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statementsAnalyze financial data and performance to provide insights to management and Private Equity stakeholdersLead together with the CFO and the Finance team all planning and reporting cycles for the Group including monthly closing, forecast, annual budgets and strategic plannings. Improve internal control processes to enhance compliance and quality of reporting. Receivable and Cash Flow Management

Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of payablesMonitor credit risk and collections to maintain cash flow efficiency globallyManage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs Project Management

Support the continuous improvement of financial processes, including the implementation of new tools, ERP systems, and automation initiativesDrive the financial Post-Merger Integration processTrack project expenses to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts Team Management

Drive and coordinate the global finance teamCoordinate with the external accountant Qualifications Bachelor or Master's Degree and at least 6+ years of experience in a similar positionWilling- and eagerness to make a change and you are a collaborative team playerSolid understanding of international accounting standards & processesVery good Excel skills and experience with Power BI and ERP systemsFluent in English and Italian, both written & spokenWillingness to travel 10-15%.
