A Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Trainee supports in maximising revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions.
What will I be doing? As Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Trainee you will learn and support in maximising revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions. The Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Trainee will interact frequently with Guests and customers with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business. Specifically, a Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Trainee will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Support receiving and converting incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenueSupport seeking opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the TeamSupport managing an events schedule to maximise yieldFocus on a consistently executed up-selling approachBuild strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needsArrange and carry out Hotel show roundsSupport ensuring the complete administration and execution of all planned eventsParticipate in hotel promotional activitiesWhat are we looking for? A Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Trainee serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. Good organisational and administration skillsPositive attitude and good communication skillsCommitment to delivering a high level of customer serviceConfident telephone mannerHigh level of IT skillsDemonstrated previous experience working in a Sales environmentIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
