Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.

Within Group Strategic Planning & Control, the Group Cost Allocation & Control unit represents a specialized unit.

Its role is to define the correct cost ambition at Group level within each 3Y strategic plan process (supporting the definition of new Group Cost Strategy), analyze expenses across all Group Business Units and then allocate the related target ambition in order to steer the appropriate level of efficiency and investments.

The unit is then responsible of collecting and reporting expenses to all Group Committees (BOD, GMC, etc. )

and to the market (both for actual, forecast and plan disclosure).

- Support in definition of expense allocation across Business Units during the plan process (starting from top down targets definition, followed by aggregation and discussion of bottom up plans)

- Creation of the full reporting package on quarterly basis (Actual and Forecast) to BoD, Market, Top Management (e. g GMD)

- Ad hoc Analysis (eg Cost Category trends, Compensation cost, project costs, benchmarking, etc. )

for internal and external Stakeholders

- Maintenance and Development of the Group costs tools (Tagetik and Robotics)

- Coordination of reporting guidelines and methodology for General Expenses trough the interaction with GIR, GSP&C and the Countries

- Guaranteeing the closing of reporting package on quarterly basis (Actual and Forecast) to internal and external stakeholders

- Guaranteeing the maintenance and the development of the system and tools

- Supporting the unit in the planning process and in the ad hoc analysis required

Must have

- Strong analytical/numerical skills

- Ability to work in teams

- Willingness to interact with multiple stakeholders (in GHO and BUs)

- Precision and task orientation

- Autonomy in managing end to end a process (including presentation)

- Proactiveness in definition of new solutions

Nice to have

- 3-4 years of working experience

- Knowledge of Tagetik and on the related maintenance of database and report

- Knowledge in Robotics
