Job Description: This role is essential to ensuring the integrity and compliance of the Group's financial reporting, supporting and driving through operational improvements in a growing organization. The Group Finance Operation Manager will be based in Milan, directly reporting to the Group Head of Finance based in London. The Group Finance Team, based in London, is a central point of contact for the CFOs and Finance Teams of the local entities and will be a point of contact and source of support for this role. Main responsibilities: Collaborate with Group Finance Team to develop and improve financial systems and procedures to support the operations of the finance function including monthly financial reporting, analysis and controls. Develop and maintain Group accounting policies and internal control procedures, maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of IFRS and ensuring agency compliance with financial reporting requirements. Working with Group Head of Finance to develop standardized processes and procedures for financial controls during M&A activity, including modeling acquisition mechanisms, reviewing service agreements and onboarding new agencies. Collaborate with the technology team to identify and develop financial system improvements, using advanced technologies and best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Business Accounting, Finance or similar disciplines; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent are preferred. Minimum 3-4 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, experience in a multinational context is preferred. Knowledge of IFRS regulations and internal audit processes, business acquisitions and integrations. Previous experience with Financial Consolidation software or Data Analytics tools is a plus. Fluent in English and Italian; knowledge of other languages is a plus. Personal characteristics: Take initiative and work independently, able to manage tight deadlines and multiple projects. Adaptable approach, proactive attitude with a results-oriented approach. Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of a multinational organization. Occasional international travel including to London may be required.
