The Role The Group Operations Director will play a strategic role in managing and transforming the operations organization. The primary responsibility is referred to the plant of our HQ based in Corsico. The role will progressively be performed across the rest of our international production facilities in Italy (Rovereto), Germany, UK and China. This includes overseeing production, maintenance, HSE (Health, Safety and Environment), logistics (warehousing), and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead and optimize the operations organization to ensure efficiency, productivity, and excellence across all facilities. Drive the adoption and implementation of operational excellence principles and Industry 4. 0 practices. Foster a high-performing, motivated, and collaborative team, organizing and inspiring individuals at an international level. Collaborate closely with other departments (i. e. Quality, Engineering, R&D, Procurement, Sales) to ensure strategic alignment and synergy. Develop and execute strategies to harmonize processes across global locations and promote a culture of continuous improvement. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is a leader with: A degree in Engineering. 10 years of experience in operations leadership roles matured in industrial sectors characterized by medium/large volume discrete components manufacturing and high degree of automation. Experience with manufacturing of high precision mechanics components is preferred. Transformative mindset and strong expertise in operational excellence and Industry 4. 0 concepts and practices. Proven ability to build, organize, and inspire high-performing teams locally and at an international level. Business acumen and strategic thinking to align operations with company goals and market demands. Experience with demanding ISO standards as automotive IATF16949 and/or medical ISO13485. Available to be based in Corsico (Milan). The role must be performed exclusively on-site (remote or smart working not allowed).
